Actress Agot Isidro Cites Inconsistencies On Duterte’s Pronouncements
The Filipina actress Agot Isidro has posted the inconsistencies on President Duterte’s pronouncement regarding of going hungry.
Agot Isidro is a Filipinas actress, recording artist, singer, and television host who appeared in numerous television shows and movie projects. She was also able to receive several awards for impressive acting skills.
The celebrity was also known as one of the most vocal critics of President Rodrigo Duterte. Isidro was known for criticizing the Duterte administration after it launches the anti-illegal drug campaign amid Extrajudicial Killing (EJK).
The actress was also criticizing the president for its demeanors and its decisions including its statement to cut the military and economic ties between the Philippines and the United States.
Recently, the 51-year-old TV personality has noted the difference and inconsistencies about the pronouncements of President Duterte concerning ‘going hungry’ posts.
Isidro posted on her Twitter account citing the difference between the Duterte’s statement for the transport groups who were opposing the modernization of public transportation system and his previous statement that he will the first to go hungry.
Here is the statement of Duterte for the transport groups:
“Jan 1, mag-modernize kayo. Mahirap kayo? Magtiis kayo sa hirap at gutom. Wala akong pakialam.”
Here is Duterte’s previous statement about going hungry:
“’ll be the first one to go hungry, I’ll be the first one to die of hunger….But we will never, never compromise our dignity as Filipinos.”
