Maasim Mayor’s Green Book Containing Drug Deals With Espinosa, Parojinog Exposed By PDEA
PDEA has exposed Maasim, Sarangani mayor’s green book containing drug transactions with slain mayors Espinosa and Parojinog.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) director Chief Superintendent Aaron Aquino has exposed a “green book” recovered from the possessions of Maasim, Sarangani Mayor Aniceto Lopez Jr.
The green book allegedly contains the drug transactions of Mayor Lopez with the slain mayors Rolando Espinosa Sr. and Reynaldo Parojinog who were linked to illegal drugs.
“Doon sa green book naka-link doon si [convicted robbery gang leader Herbert] Colangco. May nakalagay pang amount na P150 million, and sina Parojinog, sina Espinosa,” said by PDEA Chief Aquino quoted by MSN.
Both Albuera, Leyte Mayor and the Ozamiz City Mayor were tagged by President Rodrigo Duterte on his list of narco-politicians.
Espinosa was killed inside his jail cell on November 2016, while Parojinog died during a police raid on their residence.
The PDEA chief also explained that although Mayor Lopez was not on the narco list it doesn’t mean that he was not involved in the illegal drugs.
On Friday afternoon (October 06, 2017), the mayor of Maasim, Sarangani voluntarily surrendered himself to Senator Manny Pacquiao. After he surrendered, the authorities have raided his home and recovered P5 million worth of suspected illegal substance.
One pack of suspected party drugs ‘ecstasy’, vials, two caliber 45 pistols, two M203 grenades, two fragmentation grenades, two rifle grenades and drug paraphernalia were also recovered by PDEA operatives.
