President Duterte Claims That Some 9, 000 Policemen Were Into Drugs

President Rodrigo Duterte said that there are about 9, 000 policemen in the Philippine were into drugs and admitted the drug problem is not easy.

On Thursday (September 30, 2017), Mr. Duterte admitted that he has difficulty in eradicating the drug problem in the Philippines and said that some 9, 000 policemen were into drugs. The president made his statement in Balangiga, Eastern Samar.

Previously, the president said that there were some law enforcers who are working with drug lords to earn huge amount of cash. He also even offered a cash reward for anyone who could lead to the captivity of the cops involved in illegal activities.

Duterte keeps his statement regarding the involvement of the “Bamboo Triad” with the illegal drug trade in the Philippines. He was also claiming that the group was working with the terrorist group “Abu Sayyaf”.

“China government has nothing to do with it. The Chinese people have nothing to do with it. It’s the gangsters of the Philippines and China combined. They combined together making the life of the Filipinos miserable,” said by Duterte quoted by Inquirer.

Those groups were allegedly cooking the drugs in the ships and have a franchise give to the extremist group who were able to perform their duty because they were armed, according to the president.
