Actor/heartthrob Piolo Pascual will return to doing teleserye.
It’s been three years since the 40-year-old actor last appeared on national television as part of a teleserye.
Deo Endrinal, ABS-CBN business unit head announced via his official Instagram account on Tuesday, August 15, the TV comeback of Piolo Pascual.
Endrinal is the handler of Dreamscape Entertainment, a drama unit which is the producer of long-running ABS-CBN series, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” starring Coco Martin.
Meanwhile, Piolo Pascual will work for the first time with actress Arci Muñoz. The latter will be his leading lady in the upcoming teleserye.
According to PEP.ph, The Better Half actor JC de Vera will also star in the highly-anticipated teleserye.
Fresh from the success of Kita Kita, Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy Marquez will embark on national TV as they also join the casts of the series which mark as their first teleserye together.
Piolo Pascual, who’s last seen in the child-friendly series Hawak Kamay aired in 2014 is also one of the producers of Kita Kita, which earned a whopping P320 million according to Spring Films.
Piolo Pascual was supposed to star in 2016 series, Written In Our Stars, starring Toni Gonzaga. However, the project was cancelled after the latter got pregnant.
The teleserye also mark as the reunion for JC and Arci who worked together in defunct TV5 teleseryes; My Driver Sweet Lover (2010) and Ang Utol Kong Hoodlum (2011).
The upcoming teleserye which stars with Piolo Pascual, Arci Muñoz, JC de Vera, Alessandra de Rossi and Empoy is directed by “hugot” movie director Antoinette Jadaone.
