The photo of a motorist who fearlessly displays the newly proposed size of vehicle registration plate for motorcycles goes viral online.
The vehicle registration plates are usually made of plastic or metal materials for identifications purposes. It is usually attached to the motorcycle or other types of vehicles such as car, trucks, tractors, or boats.
Number plate or license plate are the other terms for the registration plate of the vehicle, which is required in some countries including the Philippines. It contains features such as holograms and bar codes for identification.
In the Philippines, the vehicle registration plate is issued by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) a government agency under the Department of Transportation (DOT).
Recently, the Facebook page “Usapang motorsiklo” has upload the photos of a certain motorist displayed an improvised vehicle registration plate, which shows the newly proposed size of plate number in the country.
The netizens have criticized the proposed size of the registration plate saying that the other countries would only laugh if this proposal will be approved and implemented in the country. Here are some of the reactions from the netizens:
