Former Pagadi-an City Mayor Samuel Co loses millions in Negros Occidental resort.

SAMUEL CO – More than P3.8 million of money and cash were stolen from businessman and former Pagadi-an City mayor Samuel Co and his wife Priscilla Ann Co during their stay in Lakawon Island Beach Resort.

Based on a recent news report in RMN, the supposed-to-be time of relaxation for the couple turned into a stressing moment after they lost millions during their stay in Lakawon Resort which can be found in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.

The 51-year-old businessman and former Pagadi-an City mayor together with his 49-year-old wife who is also into business came all the way from Metro Manila to relax in the one of the province’s most-visited resorts.

According to the news report, the couple stayed in the “junior suite”. The incident happened in the morning of July 16 around 7:00 a.m. Pagadi-an City’s ex-mayor Samuel Co and his wife reportedly lost several sets of earrings, necklace, Rolex watch, bracelet, and P15,000.00 cash.

Included in those properties that were reportedly stolen from the couple during their stay in the resort is a set of earrings worth Php. 900,000.00, gold Rolex with diamonds for men which is worth Php. 500, 000.00, and an eternity bracelet that is worth Php. 1, 500,000.00.

Furthermore, the business personalities also lost a white gold ring for men which is worth Php. 100, 000.00 and a bangel/bulgari which is worth Php. 200, 000.00.

The thieves are suspected to have passed through the comfort room of the place where ex-Mayor Samuel Co and his wife are staying based on the report. The suspects who stole the money and jewelries of the couple residing in Makati City were not yet identified by the police authorities.
