The half Filipino blood Evita Delmundo made it to the Miss Universe Malaysia.
EVITA DELMUNDO – The Rungus-Filipino mix beauty had joined the Miss Universe Malaysia 2018, thus, giving beauty a whole new definition and essence.
According to the article released by the Elle Magazine online, they have spoken to her about her experience as she joined the pageant.
Evita Delmundo is a beauty who was born with moles mostly covering her body but it has long overdue since she gave a care about what her physical appearance looks like.
She is just 20-year-old and auditioned for the Miss Universe Malaysia 2018 and she had just proven that the physical beauty is not everything that even if she will not be accepted in her audition for the said pageant, she will continue to join to others which only defines her unstoppable drive.
Growing up has been really tough for her. She endured the bullying and being called ‘monster’ and ‘chipsmore’ where she became timid and shied away herself from everyone.
And a church camp she attended to when she was 16 years old have made her love herself and embrace herself from what she was and what she looks like.
Accordingly to the source, she once thought of removing her moles but after the medical advises told her that it would put her health at risk, she refrained and she was glad she did refrained from it.
Asp er her reason why sh joined the pageant, she just answered, “It’s always been a dream for me to try out for Miss Universe Malaysia. I feel like it’s a good way for me to showcase my uniqueness and newfound confidence, and hopefully I can also inspire others.”
Furthermore, her definition of beauty goes this way, “Beauty is not just what’s on the outside; it’s not someone with the perfect face or the perfect body. Beauty is who you are as a person and how you love yourself. It’s never about perfection.”
