Resorts World Manila Attack Story Revealed By Mitoy Yonting

The Filipino singer Mitoy Yonting has revealed the story behind the Resorts World Manila attack and he also shared his own experience.

On early Friday morning (June 02, 2017), Resorts World Manila has been attacked by armed men wearing masks, which cause fear and panic to the customer inside the establishment. The incident also becomes the news headlines today.

The Pinoy singer Mitoy Yonting has also shared his experience regarding the incident at the Resorts World. The singer shared that they were performing at Bar 360 on the ground floor of the hotel when they heard several gunshots on the upper floor.

At first, he thought that it was only a simple fist fight due to gambling, but they started to panic when they already heard the gun shots from the second floor of the hotel. He also explained that the place was too large and he can even describe that the gunshots came from an automatic rifle.

Mitoy and his colleague immediately packed up and went to the dressing room when the gun fires temporarily subsided. He even also told the people not to panic to control the chaotic act inside the establishment.

The singer together with his staff and friends went out passing through the exit of the dressing room, but they returned to the dressing room again due to the countless gun shots. They find another exit until successful get out of the building by passing to the Duty-Free going to the Villamor Air Base.

“Noong lumabas kami sa Duty Free sa may gilid ng mall, paglabas mismo namin ng Resorts World noong nasa kalsada kami, eto na naman, may takbuhan na naman. Parang mga tatlong beses kaming tumakbo at ‘yun nga ‘yung dalawang kasama ko. Dumiretso kami ng Villamor Air Base kasama ng siguro more or less mga 100 persons kaming nakapasok doon sa Villamor Air Base. Tapos ni-lock nila ‘yung gate,” said by Yonting quoted by ABS-CBN.

Yonting said that he got home around past 2 am on early Friday morning.
