Just to escape and forget for a while from the controversies that Gretchen Ho is facing, did she really do this?
GRETCHEN HO – The famous host and former volleyball player Gretchen Ho did this risky act just to allegedly forget the controversies she is facing right now even just for a while.
According to the Instagram post of the host on her account, she trekked her way together with a team up to the highest mountain of the Philippines, the Mt. Apo.
But it is not her way to escape from the controversies though, it is for TV Patrol.
For recently, after the massive fire in the said mountain, it has now re-opened to public. The cause of the fire was not identified but the El Nino is one of the major factor why it burnt hectares of land and trees of the mountain.
Despite the threatening and risky path to go up there, she still go on with the pursuit, again, not to escape, but for the love for work and passion.
The Mt. Apo Natural Park-Protected Area Management Board (MANP-PAMB) pointed out to make the areas destroyed by the massive forest fire last year “off-limits” for rehabilitation.
According to one of the post of the host, it has a written caption on it which says, “The view of Mt. Apo from the summit: Crater to the left and Davao to the right. We were so lucky to have had a clear view just when we were about to go down!! This was, by far, the hardest and most satisfying climb of my life! I was so scared throughout because one misstep could cost you your life, but I was also so determined to finish it!! At 2956 MASL, I could now say I’ve been on top of the Philippines 🙂 Thank you Lord for the opportunity and for leading us safely back home! And YES, Mount Apo is OFFICIALLY OPEN!
