South African Woman Speaks In Korean Language Fluently
A South African woman named “Lindie Botes” suddenly speaks in Korean fluently after waking up from anesthesia, but admit she had never been to South Korea.
Lindie Botes had been administered with anesthesia for some scope to be performed in the hospital. Botes wakes up from anesthesia and unconsciously speak fluent Korean, which also shocked her and the hospital personnel.
The African woman had never been to South Korea, so her friend and other witnesses were surprised. She asked her friend “What time is it” in Korean and later on she found herself speaking in a foreign language.
“I cannot explain why, but for some reason each time I wake up from anesthesia, I speak Korean until I regain my consciousness completely,” said by Botes quoted by Kickerdaily.
The South African woman, is a self-confessed polyglot and admitted studying the language for already 9 years, but explained that she had never been to South Korea.
Botes uploaded the short video clip in Youtube and garnered different reactions from social media users. Most of them were amazed at her fluency in the Korean language, while some of them were doubting and it could be something else.
The video immediately went viral in South Korea after it was posted in the social media. It has been also featured in various local television channels and online websites.
The viral video uploaded on Youtube has currently 563, 008 views. Korean netizens also commented saying that it was unbelievable and thinking that the African woman must have studied very hard to speak in the Korean language fluently.
