Lucio Tan Slammed By President Duterte Over Tax Evasion

President Rodrigo Duterte has slammed Lucio Tan, as one of the richest Filipinos over tax evasion amounting of P30 billion.

Mr. Duterte had his state visit in Qatar and had his speech in front of Filipino community. During his speech, he revealed that one of the richest men in the country owes the Philippine government for at least P30 billion unpaid collectible revenues.

The president said that Lucio Tan was just like other oligarchs in the Philippines, who evades paying their taxes. He also said that he consider those rich people as his enemies.

“These rich people, they are my enemies. They can tell that I envy them, and it is true. You sons of (–foul word(s) removed–)! But you should pay your taxes. Why do I envy you? You keep on gaining riches and yet you don’t pay taxes,” said by Duterte quoted by newsinfolearn.

Duterte also said that those rich people must pay their taxes to the government. He also revealed that Lucio Tan would like to give him money during his presidential bid, but he refused to accept the amount offered by the business tycoon and still able to win the presidential elections with 16 million votes.

Lucio Tan owes the Philippine government with an amount of at least P30 billion unpaid taxes, which he has to pay, according to Mr. Duterte. He also said that he will make the Philippines a better country as long as there is no corruption and all the taxes will be properly paid.

The president also explained that everybody is equal and need to pay their taxes. Nobody will get a special treatment whatever they are. Tan was also ranked as the 501st world’s richest billionaire this year with a wealth of $3.7 billion, according to Forbes.

Who cares how much Duterte the job he is doing for Philippines is priceless and the trade he has bought up with other countries will support Philippines.Not only is he removing corruption but he is cleaning out the drugs and introduced death sentences for crimes against humanity .Dont slander the elected president just support him and you will all shine in the worlds best country with a government that gets the job done
