The minimum jeepney fare has been raised from 7 pesos to 8 pesos.
Most jeepney operators and drivers have posted a printed copy of the ordinance regarding the fare increase.
However, instead of posting as such, this driver posted a screenshot of a reporter announcing the hike.

According to a photo shared by a certain Danna Gatchalian, her attention was caught when she spotted the photo which she initially thought as a poster of a “wanted” criminal.
But after a closer look, she realized that it was only the announcement of the jeepney fare increase.
She later took a picture of the post and shared it on social media particularly on social networking site, Facebook.
Her post had gone viral on the internet with over 7 thousand reactions and more than one thousand comments as of posting.
