P300, 000 Reward For Dash Cam Video Of Road Rage Offered By David Lim’s Lawyer
The lawyer of Cebu road rage suspect ‘David Lim Jr.’ is offering P300, 000 for the dash cam video of the actual road rage incident.
David Lim Jr. was the suspect behind the shooting incident during a traffic altercation in Barangay Kamputhaw, Cebu City last Sunday (March 19, 2017). Mr. Lim said that he shot Ephraim Nuñal just to defend himself.
The suspect shot the 33-year-old nurse after the exchange of their heated arguments during a road rage. Lim went used his .22 caliber gun and shot Nuñal several times, which causes injury to his left thigh and right ankle.
Lim allegedly stopped his Mercedez Benz in the middle of the road, then Nuñal honked at him, which triggered the exchange of heated arguments. Their argument escalated to a fist fight, but Lim shot the nurse when he saw Nuñal’s companion getting out of the vehicle.
On early Tuesday (March 21, 2017), Lim was voluntarily surrendered by his family to the Cebu police, who’s now currently detained in the Central Visayas Police. The suspect was detained inside in his cell in Cebu while the complaints filed against him was now pending in the court.
Orlando Salatandre, lawyer of Mr. Lim explained that his client shot Nuñal just to defend himself during the road rage incident Salatandre is now offering an amount of P300, 000 rewards for the dash cam video of the actual shooting incident.
Earlier, some reports said that the road rage suspect enters his detention cell and spotted him hiding in the restroom of police custody, which proves that the Lim did not receive any special treatment from the police.
