Baste Duterte Allegedly Smoking Weeds
The video of Sebastian “Baste” Duterte allegedly smoking weeds with the actress Ellen Adarna went viral in the social media.
The youngest son of President Rodrigo Duterte was involved in different issues and controversies nowadays, because of his rumored relationship with Adarna. Baste confirmed the real status of their relationship, but already they have break-up last December 2016.
The presidential son faces another controversy regarding his viral video while holding an unknown white object, which he was used for smoking while he was with the actress. The unknown object looked like a joint used for smoking “Maryjane”.
Baste looks so high while he was smoking using the unknown object. Ellen Adarna also looks so high while she talking with the one recording the video. Some netizen concludes that Baste was smoking weeds causing his unusual behavior.
President Duterte was strongly implementing his war on drugs in the Philippines, amid Extrajudicial Killing (EJK). Mr. Duterte also said during the campaign period that he hates drug and eradicating illegal drugs in the country can reduce crime rates.
The president once said that if he caught one of his children were caught involved and using illegal drugs, he will still order to kill that person even if it is his family member. So the fate of Baste was still to be decided by his own father if the allegation were proven true.

Some netizens explained that the two of them were both drunk, causing their actions and Baste was only using a vape. But there is still no confirmation regarding the unknown object used by the young Duterte. The viral video has currently 144, 651 views and 306 comments as of this post.
