ADORABLE KID – A video of a little boy who heartfeltly sang the Philippine National Anthem during a flag ceremony went viral on the social media.
A video posted on the Facebook page Filipino Vines along with the caption ‘This is the way to start the day. Elementary Days #FVTeens #FilipinoVinerRock’ caught the attention of the online community.
What can be seen in the video are kids who are lining up during a flag ceremony. One kid really stood out amidst the rest after the little boy heartfeltly sang the national hymn.
Although it could somehow be seen in the first part of the video that it seems like he does not know some parts of the lyrics, it is visible in the later part that he really sings with all his heart those the lines that he knew.
Heartfeltly, the little boy sang the line ‘Lupa ng araw, ng luwalhati’t pagsinta’ of the Philippine National Anthem.
The video has already reached more than six million views and sixty thousand shares on Facebook. Lots of netizens have also expressed through comments their reactions towards the video.
One netizen stated in his comment that it is done every day by the school kids in the Philippines before the class starts. He stressed that it ‘teaches patriotism and respect for [the] country’. Moreover, the netizen stated that it is something that needs to be revived in America.
Another Facebook user stated in his comment that the national anthem should be really be sang like that – from the deepest part of the heart.
One Facebook user made an emphasis on her comment that the little boy really feels the song as he sings it. The netizen also stated that he even closes his eyes while singing.
