Pinoy couples are the most intimate compared to couples from other countries in the Asian region, according to a recent relationship index survey.
The survey, conducted by research firm Ipsos and whose results were released recently by Pru Life UK, suggests that Pinoy couples are most likely in Asia to share intimate moments with their partners in life.
The study further breaks down the high and lows of the relationship of Filipinos with their loved ones, with the hope of making it better.
The study was conducted involving five thousand respondents in China, Cambodia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Vietnam and in the Philippines.
There were five hundred residents of Metro Manila with household incomes of not less than P20 thousand per month who represented about the top two-thirds of households in Manila City who reportedly took part in the survey held online.
It was found that Pinoy couples, according to the relationship index, show their love for each other more than anybody else in Asia.
About 87 percent say “I love you” to their partners every week, while 68 percent say they do it on a daily basis.
Also, about 87 percent of Pinoy citizens have been presumed by the study to engage in intimate relationship with their partner, which has been found to be the highest in the region.
The study also found that married Pinoy couples are likely to be closely involved with the finances of each other, with more than three quarters or 76 percent of the partners saying that they plan their finances together, while 84 percent talk about their plans in the future.
Meanwhile, the same study found that Filipinos have the best relationship with their children among parents in the continent.
The index reveals that Pinoy parents have garnered the highest score with children, 59 out of 100, than any other country in Asia.
About 90 percent of the parent-respondents said that they give advice to their children at least once every seven days.
Pinoy parents got the highest rate, with 43 percent, in Asia when it comes to giving importance on listening to their pieces of advice while 75 percent said bonding with their kids is valuable and 87 percent are helping their children do their homeworks every week.
Aside from the hospitality, Pinoys are known for being so much inclined to leading a quality family life by starting with their intimacy with their partners and the study only explains why there are so many Filipinas and Filipinos who are being married to other race.
