Mitsubishi Philippines Launches New, Cheaper MT Montero Sport
Cheaper MT Montero Sport variant has been introduced by Mitsubishi Philippines, which will surely attract car shoppers looking for a new SUV.
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines introduced the new variant of their Montero Sport called “2WD GLX MT.” Montero Sport earned the second spot for the annual voting of the car of the year. Car shoppers who were looking for a new SUV will surely like this one.
This Japanese midsize SUV six-speed manual transmission and a two-wheel drive spec. The new Montero Sport is powered by a 2.4-liter diesel engine, which is capable of 178hp and 430 Nm. Launching “2WD GLX MT” made the fifth edition of Montero Sport.
The Mitsubishi’s new vehicle has daytime running lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, projector type headlamps, and other amazing features. This new SUV is available in different colors such as Sedona Red, Mystic Blue, Pyrenese Black, Sterling Silver Metallic, Virgil Gray, Deep Bronze Metallic, and Savanna White.
Montero Sport new variant has s starting price of P1.28 million per unit. The 2WD GLX MT covers a 3-year warrant or 100, 000 km travel. Despite several Montero Sports’ sudden unintended acceleration (SUA) cases, it still remains competitive on the vehicle market.
Due to its cheaper price compared to other Montero Sports edition, this new variant will entice SUV shoppers to buy one. Mitsubishi Philippines also advise the car shoppers as early as they can for the company will increase the price of some vehicle units up to P20, 000 due to higher tax value on vehicles.
