Recently, a news report entailed that Pres. Duterte is one of the 74 most powerful persons in the world by Forbes Magazine. He secured the 70th spot as they were ranked based on influence, the extent of their powers in multiple schemes, the financial resources they handle, and how they use their powers.

According to the news report, Akbayan Rep. Tomasito Villarin expressed to the media men and women that the drop in the result in Mindanao indicates that the main problem in the place is poverty and not the illegal drugs.

Furthermore, the lawmaker emphasized his thought that not addressing the problem might lead to Mindanao’s rejection of Pres. Duterte next year.

The report also made mention of the nationwide result of the survey which shows that only 13 percent are unsatisfied with the performance of Pres. Duterte. While 10 percent are undecided, 77 percent are satisfied.

1,500 respondents across the nation were interviewed by SWS. Out of the 1,500, 300 each came from Metro Manila, Mindanao, and Visayas and the remaining 600 came from the metropolis outside Luzon according to the report.

The Palace expressed its thanks to the people for giving the chief executive a ‘very good’ net satisfaction rating based on the report.
