Russian President Putin Offers Good Deals For Guns To The Philippines, President Duterte Says
Russian President Vladimir Putin offers good deals for guns to the Philippines after America’s refusal to sell their guns, President Rodrigo Duterte says.
As Duterte seeks to boost the relationship between Manila and Moscow, Russia offered to sell their rifles to the country after United States senator questioned the Philippines’ plan to purchase guns from them.
During the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Peru, President Duterte and Russian President Vladimir Putin have met. The two presidents have a good relationship with each other for their quite similarities.
The United States Democratic Sen. Ben Cardin put the ‘Philippines’ plan to purchase assault rifles from America’ under review. The U.S senator also questioned the purchased amid the human rights violation that alleged committed by the Philippines.
