De Lima’s “Frailty Of A Woman” Alibi Was Not An Excuse To Evade Criminal Liability, Gabriela Says

Senator Leila De Lima’s “frailty of a woman” was condemned by women’s rights group ‘Gabriela’ saying that alibi was not an excuse to a crime.

The women group “Gabriela” reacts on the growing clamor from the public asking the women’s rights advocacy group to speak for De Lima. Gabriela said that the frailties of women or any gender will never be an excuse to escape crimes such as immorality, abuse of authority by a public official or drug trafficking.

“It should not be used—especially by one who holds a position of power like Senator Leila de Lima—as an excuse from criminal accountability or to paint herself as a victim,” said by Gabriella quoted by Pinoytrendingnews.
