Bato Dela Rosa’s Free Trip To Pacman’s Fight Defended By President Duterte

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Ronald ‘Bato’ Dela Rosa’s free trip to watch Pacman’s fight was defended by President Rodrigo Duterte.

On Monday night (November 14, 2016), President Duterte said that ‘Bato’ did not violate any law in the Philippine constitution upon accepting the invitation of Senator Manny Pacquiao to watch his fight in Las Vegas last November 06, 2016 (PH-Time).

Duterte told Pacquiao when he paid a courtesy call to him in Malacañang, he said that Dela Rosa has no criminal liability for what he did in watching the fight of the Filipino boxing superstar.

Pacman’s Fight

The president raised the left hand of Manny and gamely posed with the new World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao after defeating the Mexican-American Jessie Vargas. Duterte also would like to send a warm congratulation from the Philippine government and Filipino people to Manny for his achievements.
