Dela Rosa’s Free Trip To Pacquiao’s Fight Questioned By Office of the Ombudsman

Philippine Nation Police (PNP) chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa will be investigated over his free trip to watch Pacquiao’s fight in Las Vegas.

On weekends, Manny Pacquiao won his match against WO welterweight champion Jessie Vargas. On his fight against Vargas, his family, relatives, and friends go with him to the United States to watch his fight including PNP chief Dela Rosa.

The Office of the Ombudsman questioned the free trip and accommodation of Bato to Las Vegas. An investigation was initiated to Dela Rosa according to the report of Ombudsman Conchita Carpio-Morales.

Free Trip

The investigation was initiated to determine if the PNP chief act of receiving money, gifts from Manny. The Ombudsman will determine if his act violates the Republic Act 6713 or the code of conduct and ethical standards for officials and employees.
