Helicopter Carrying PNP Generals, Military Officers Crash-Landed In Palawan

The helicopter of the Philippine Air Force carried four PNP generals and some military officers when it crash-landed in Puerto Princesa in Palawan.

A helicopter of the Philippine Air Force (PAF), carrying for generals of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and other officers of the police and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), crash-landed in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan province on Tuesday, November 8.

The group on-board the Sokol 926 helicopter was conducting reconnaissance flight over the area of the famous Underground River when it gradually went down.

But according to Police Chief Supt. Wilben Mayor, the director of the Mindoro Occidental and Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan (MIMAROPA) Regional Police Office, said that the pilots were able to maneuver the helicopter and managed to land it safely.

Chief Supt. Mayor said: “We are all safe we are okay except for one of our companions who was very, very slightly injured”.
