The Philippine Navy plane spotted four Chinese ships guarding the disputed Panatag Shoal.
PHILIPPINE NAVY – Four Chinese Coast Guard ships were spotted guarding the Panatag Shoal by a Philippine Navy plane.
The rift on the disputed island has undeniably challenged the relationship of two countries, Philippines and China. It has even became an international concern reaching the Arbitral Tribunal which has given the verdict on the ownership of the island.
The Arbitral Tribunal has sided on the Philippines – a verdict not fully welcomed by the Chinese government.
On another side, the Philippines-China ties has warmed up under the governance of Pres. Rodrigo ‘Rody’ Duterte who has recently been in an official state visit to Beijing, China.
