De Lima Pinned Down As Former Staff Got “Positive” In Lie Detector Test

It seems like Senator Leila de Lima is pinned deeply down in illegal drug trade issue after her former employee was positive in the lie detector test.

Senator Leila de Lima is pinned deeply down after her former staff had a positive result after undergoing the polygraph or lie detector test facilitated by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).

In a press conference called by Department of Justice (DOJ) Sec. Vitaliano Aguirre II, the Cabinet member revealed the contents of the sworn affidavit of Jonathan Caranto, an employee of DOJ and worked under De Lima’s supervision when she was still the Justice secretary.

Aguirre also showed the result of the lie detector test from the NBI.

The current Justice secretary clarified that Caranto was not forced to give a sworn statement and instead, it was the employee’s initiative to seek audience from Aguirre on Wednesday, August 31.

Aguirre immediately provided a legal counsel for De Lima’s former staff before he went to the NBI.
