Pokemon Go To Revolution Go: Left Leader Urges Youth To Hunt ‘Real-Life Monsters’

Pokemon Go To Revolution Go

Revolution Go – One of the leaders of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) Secretary General Wilma Tiamzon, who was recently released from detention, urges the youth to catch ‘real-life monsters’ instead of Pokemon.

“Para sa mga kabataang Pilipino at sambayanan na nahuhumaling sa paghuli sa mga monster sa Pokemon Go, alam ninyo, marami din monster sa ating lipunan na kailangan natin labanan,” Tiamzon said as quoted by GMA News.

[For the Filipino youth and our countrymen who got hooked catching monsters in Pokemon Go, for you to know, there are lots of monsters in our society that needs to be conquered.]

For her, it would be better if people will go from Pokemon Go to “Revolution Go”.

According to her, President Rodrigo Duterte might not be angry as he was also angry with ‘monsters’ in the government.

“Hindi naman po siguro magagalit si Pangulong Duterte dahil galit din siya sa mga monsters sa gobyerno,”Tiamzon added.

Tiamzon was among the Communist Party leaders who have been released last August 19 to join the peace talks on Oslo, Norway.

Other communist leaders like Ariel Arbitrario, Alfredo Mapano, and Eddie Genelsa, were temporarily released after posting bail.

Pedro Codaste, also one of the released Leftist, said that he thinks that President Duterte is now ready to listen to they would say.

“I think that what is new about the Duterte administration is that the government is finally ready to listen to what we have to say. Because it is not possible that we will just surrender, everything that we have stood for all these years will be for nothing if we surrender,” Codaste said as quoted by PhilStar.

Meanwhile, the CPP-NPA already issued a unilateral ceasefire for seven days with the Philippine Government.
