Pres. Duterte Demands Resignation of 3 Generals at Camp Crame

President-elect Rodrigo Duterte demanded resignation of three high-ranking officials of the Philippine National Police currently working at PNP’s Headquarters Camp Crame. Pres. Duterte warned the three generals to resign from office or else he will humiliate them. The victory party in Davao City in honor of Mayor Rody Duterte is considered as one of the biggest gathering in Mindanao for the past few years.

According to Pres. Duterte the three police officials at Camp Crame were involved in an alleged corruption charges. The warning of the outgoing Davao City Mayor was revealed during the victory party “One Love, One Nation” organized by his supporters in Davao City which was attended with hundreds of thousands of his supporters from different parts Mindanao and other parts of the country.

The 71-year-old incoming President of the Republic of the Philippines said that he would “humiliate” the  officials, whom he did not name, if they refused to step down from office and file their resignation. He was quoted as saying “Corruption must stop. Tatlong general diyan sa Crame (should) resign. Do not wait for me to name you in public because I will only humiliate you,” Pres. Duterte stated.

Aside from the three Generals working at Camp Crame, Pres. Duterte also stated that all dismissed corruption cases against policemen in the entire PNP will also be reviewed under his administration. The  DU31 victory party dubbed as “One Nation, One Love” was held at an open grounds beside the Crocodile Park in Davao City.

Mayor Rody Duterte also revealed during his speech at the victory party that right now he already started working as President reviewing some of the country’s pressing problems so that he will have an idea on how to solve the various problems in the country.

Before the speech of Mayor Rody Duterte, his running mate, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano also took the stage and offered some words of advice to all Duterte supporters and congratulated the Filipino people for a huge victory as the Philippines marched for change under the administration of the first Philippine President from Mindanao.

Sen. Cayetano also lambasted a certain TV station based in Manila for calling the incoming administration Duterte-Robredo admin because for the past few years, the name of the Vice President is always not included in the name of the administration. He warned for a possible Plan B from the opposition party who were defeated by a lowly mayor from Mindanao.
