World-renowned rapper and fashion designer Kanye West arrived in the Philippines early Saturday, as his plane landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 5:22 AM but he refused to give some comments to the reporters waiting for him at the airport. Kanye West is in the country to perform with “See You Again,” rapper Wiz Khalifa.
The event to be attended by Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West is the Paradise International Music Festival which will be held this weekend. This is the very first time that the international celebrity visited the Philippines.
Kanye West is the husband of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, is considered as one of the most popular artist in the United States. He just released his latest album “The Life of Pablo,” last February.
Wiz Khalifa on his part released his latest album titled “Khalifa,” on the same month of February. Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa were involved earlier in a heated Twitter feud over West’s move to change the name of his new album from “Swish” to “Waves.” According to Khalifa, West hadn’t given rapper Max B enough credit for popularizing the term “wavy.”
The feud between Khalifa and Kanye ended up dragging Kardashian and Khalifa’s child with model Amber Rose. Although the two music icon earlier engaged in a heated word war, they have since patched things up and they are scheduled to perform together here in the Philippines.
