Sen. Grace Poe Admits Getting Favors from SMC and Other Companies

Presidential aspirant, Sen. Grace Poe-Llamanzares and her running-mate Sen. Chiz Escudero admitted to the media that they get favors from multinational companies in the Philipppines such as the San Miguel Corporation and other companies in the country.

The controversy of getting supporters from various prominent companies in the country were started by both Sen. Grace Poe and Sen. Chiz Escudero after they accused the Liberal Party standard-bearer, Mar Roxas of receiving favors from businessmen and supporters, by way of his borrowing the aircraft of a mining business magnate and partner, Rep. Edgar Erice.

Due to the popularity of the issue, the presidential bet, Sen. Grace Poe finally admitted that her camp aso obtained favors from food and beverage giant, San Miguel Corp. (SMC), in the forms of choppers and private jet services.

The presidential candidate was forced to reveal the identity of one of her campaign benefactors during a press conference in Baguio when she was grilled on the issue of campaign benefactos who have been providing her, alongside her running mate and the entire senatorial line-up of Poe’s group as they used chopper and private planes in their provincial sorties.
