Veteran actress Cristine Reyes and Mixed Martial Arts fighter Ali Khatibi got married on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the world-renowned Balesin Island in the southern part of the eponymous Polillo Island in the Philippine Sea.
The 26-year-old Cristine Reyes revealed earlier that she and her partner Ali Khatibi wanted an intimate wedding rather than a big celebration. She was quoted earlier “Alam mo naman ako, very private akong tao, so andoon lang pamilya namin (You know me, I’m a very private person, so the only people there are our family),” Cristine told reporters after a press conference on January 22.
Cristine Reyes also noted that it is also possible that she’ll have another wedding in Manila, but the couple haven’t planned it yet.
The couple announced their engagement last September 2015 and they were gifted with a lovely child named Amarah, who was born on February 8.
