The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has launched an investigation on the top-rating teleserye “On The Wings of Love” (OTWOL) after a scene showing actor James Reid stripping in police uniform drew flak from social media.
In an interview with Inquirer, MTRCB chair Eugenio “Toto” Villareal confirmed that the MTRCB has already sent out an invitations for a dialogue to ABS-CBN and the Philippine National Police to address the issues surrounding the controversial January 11 episode.
The MTRCB set the schedule of the dialogue between the MRTCB, OTWOL and the PNP this coming January 25, 2016.
The dialogue is set on January 25.
James Reid, one of the main character in OTWOL made headlines on social media as Reid’s striptease scene came under fire from netizens and even from the policemen, saying that the actor’s depiction was allegedly disrespectful to their uniform.
