Julia Clarete Left GMA-7’s Noontime Show “Eat Bulaga”

Veteran TV host and actress Julia Clarete shocks her fans and followers in the longest noontime variety show after she decided to bid goodbye to “Eat Bulaga.” The announcement of Julia Clarete’s departure from the noontime show was revealed on Thursday through her official Facebook Page.

The 36-year-old Julia Clarete said she had decided to migrate to Malaysia, leaving her hosting career with the longest-running noontime variety show in the Philippines. Julia Clarete started her hosting career on “Eat Bulaga” during the year 2005.

The actress and TV host admitted she wasn’t able to say goodbye but promised to return when everything was fixed.

“Nakatira na kasi ako sa Kuala Lumpur ngayon… Pasensiya na kung hindi ako nakapag-padespedida man lang. Pero hayaan niyo, pagnaayos ko na ang lahat, babalik ako para magsama sama tayo. Sa #tamangpanaghon,” Clarete said in her post.

Eat Bulaga is considered as one of the Philippine icon in terms of noontime TV show, the show’s host include pioneers in the entertainment industry such as Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon, Tito Sotto, Jimmy Santos and Ruby Rodriguez.

For the past three decades Eat Bulaga, dominates the viewing habits of Filipinos from different parts of the country. They also features the popular “AlDub” love team of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza.
