One of the world’s most popular basketball star Michael Jordan, a legend not only in the NBA but in the world of basketball paid tribute to the retiring Kobe Bryant, who is considered as one of Jordan’s basketball heir, prior to the game between the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Lakers on December 29, 2015.
NBA Legend Michael Jordan paid tribute to Kobe Bryant through a video that was played at the Time Warner Cable Arena in North Carolina, the home of the Charlotte Hornets, the NBA team owned by Michael Jordan.
Michael Jordan who is considered by many as the greatest to ever play the game of basketball, apologized for being unable to be at the arena but still complimented Kobe Bryant on his “unbelievable career” and what he did for the game of basketball.
The Chicago Bulls superstar, Michael Jordan noted that he considered himself as the big brother of Kobe Bryant and also congratulated Bryant’s entire family and told the Lakers superstar “you’re just like me.”
