The movie featuring one of the country’s famous love team during their youth, Dawn Zulueta and Richard Gomez and one of the Philippines Teleserye Queen, Bea Alonzo has already breached the P100-million makr after only six days in theaters nationwide. The box office income of the movie “The Love Affair” was announced by Star Cinema via its social media accounts.
The three main stars of the movie were so grateful with their recent achievement in the big screen. During the red-carpet premiere of the movie, the Kapamilya stars stated that they were overwhelmed by the turnout of people at the movie’s first screening and were hoping more people would watch their film in the coming days.
“The Love Affair” movie tells the story of Vince portrayed by Richard Gomez and Tricia (Dawn Zulueta), a married couple undergoing problem after she seems to have cheated on her husband.
The love story of the Vince and Tricia became more complicated when Vince crosses paths with Adie portrayed by Bea Alonzo, a lawyer he meets while seeking to have his marriage with Tricia annulled.
Veteran director Nuel Naval, directed the latest movie offering from Star Cinema which is now considered as one of the top-grossing Filipino movie of 2015 due to its box office income.
“The Love Affair” also stars Tom Rodriguez, Ina Feleo, Tonton Gutierrez, Manolo Pedrosa, Grae Fernandez and Jane Oineza.
