The influential Aquino sisters aired an official statement that they will not be supporting their long-time ally and political friend, Vice President Jejomar Binay on his presidential bid in the coming 2016 national elections. The statement of the Aquino sisters came after the Vice President attacked President Aquino on his speech against the administration.
It was only a year ago when Presidential sisster Kris Aquino revealed that she and her sisters declared their opennes to support the presidential bid of Vice President Binay but the influential Aquino sisters decided to share their sentiments against the Vice President.
The Aquino sisters decided to withdraw their support to VP Binay, a month after the Vice President quit the Cabinet of Pres. Aquino and started his bare-knuckled attacks on the President even calling the current administration as “palpak and manhid.”
Presidential sisters Aurora Corazon “Pinky” Aquino-Abellada and Maria Elena “Ballsy” Aquino-Cruz confirmed that the family could not support Binay who already spoken his sentiments against their brother. The Aquino sisters also revealed during an interview that they were deeply hurt by Binay’s statement against President Aquino.
Aside from not supporting VP Binay, the Aquino sisters also debunked the long-standing rumor that they dumped their brother’s running mate, DILG Secretary Mar Roxas and voted for Binay as Vice President during the previous election.
