The 34-year-old Brian Viloria defeated Omar Soto and lived up to his monicker as the Hawaiin Punch for an impressive display of boxing prowess at the Florentine Gardens in Hollywwod, California on Saturday, July 25 (Sunday, July 26, Manila time).

Brian Viloria has now won a total of four straight fights including three straight by knockout, since his split decision to Juan Francisco Estrada in 2013.

The former two-division world champion from Waipahu, Hawaii is now eyeing for a showdown with Ring Magazine Flyweight champion Roman Gonzalez.

Unlike to the previous fight between Brian Viloria and Omar Soto which was held in the Philippines, the Fil-Am boxer need at least 10 rounds to score a split decision, but this time around, Viloria made sure that his previous won was not just lucky for him but he really deserved it.
