The Kapamilya Channel announced the highly anticipated The Voice Kids Season 2 premiere this coming Saturday, June 6, 2015. The show is once again set to conquer not only the Twitter trending topics but also the viewing habits of every Filipinos from different parts of the world where Filipinos resides.
Well-known singers and superstar coaches Sarah Geronimo, rock icon Bamboo and international singer-actress Lea Salonga will try to search the future kiddie stars of the country who will follow the footsteps of Lyca Gairanod, the first-ever winner of The Voice Kids.
During the first stage of the competition, the Blind Audition, the coaches noted that they are now more aggressive in using new tricks to convince an artist to join their respective teams and will determine who among them could nurture the future stars of this generation.
The three coaches and judges of the show will select a total of 18 kids artists for their teams at the end of the first stage of the competition, the Blind Audition which will start this weekend.
According to ABS-CBN, the pilot episode of The Voice Kids Ph, will feature a fashionista, a football heartthrob, an impersonator artist, a kid who will make coach Lea Salonga teary-eyed and a boy who will proudly represent his tribe in Bukidnon. The mentioned artists are just some of the artists who will showcase their singing skills in the country’s most popular singing competition.
