The highly anticipated game show on Philippine TV, “Your Face Sounds Familiar” mechanics was already revealed to the media during an exclusive interview of the show’s host. The game show will feature some of the country’s most popular singers and will e shown nationwide starting on March 14, 2015.
The revelation was made to the public by the show’s host, Gary Valenciano and Jed Madela during an exclusive interview with “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” on Wednesday, March 11, 2015.
The show’s judges Gary Valenciano and Jed Madela explained the full mechanics of the newest game show from ABS-CBN which will replace the time slot of the top-rating show, The Voice of the Philippines Season 2.
According to the the two judges, a total of eight contenders will impersonate some iconic musicians, and they will accumulate points over 13 weeks to determine the top four of the competition. Aside from Gary V. and Jed Madela, the returning Kapamilya star Sharon Cuneta will be the third jury of the show.
International singer and current It’s Showtime co-host Billy Crawford will host the program. Some of the country’s most popular singers will be taking the stage as contenders of the competition.
The contenders includes 6CycleMind vocalist Tutti Caringal, “Flordeliza” star Jolina Magdangal, actress-singer Karla Estrada, acoustic singer Nyoy Volante, “Pinoy Big Brother” winner Melai Cantiveros, R&B perfomer Jay-R, “Dream Dad’s” Maxene Magalona, and indie film star Edgar Allan Guzman.
