Former actress Gretchen Barretto confirmed that her sister, Marjorie Barretto, felt bad when she expressed her admiration for Liza Soberano, one of the fast-rising teen stars of the Kapamilya Channel and featured on the top-rating TV series, Forevermore.
In previous interview of Marjorie Barretto with Ricky Lo’s column “Funfare” she considers Liza Soberano as a rival of her daughter Julia Barretto. This is the main reason why Marjorie got hurt when her sister Gretchen Barretto expressed her admiration for Liza Soberano.
Julia Barretto and Liza Soberano were launched together as Star Magic talents but Julia Barreto denied in recent interview that there’s a rivalry between her and Liza and even noted that Liza is one of her closest friends in the industry.
Meanwhile in an interview with ABS-CBN’s Mario Dumaual, Gretchen Barretto said her sister shouldn’t feel bad about her admiring Liza Soberano.
Gretchen Barretto also admired the talent of her niece, Julia Barreto and even excited with her upcoming debut in March aside from wishing the young actress “long life and a good career.”
