The highly anticipated KathNiel movie “Crazy Beautiful You” earns more than P32 million on its opening day on Wednesday as revealed by ABS-CBN during an exclusive interview with Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight.”

The latest movie featuring the country’s most popular love team, KathNiel dominated the box office in the Philippines during its first day of showing in more than 200 theaters nationwide.

During the interview with Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda, the film’s leading lady, Kathryn Bernardo was so thankful with the achievement of her latest movie. She was quoted as saying “Gusto kong magpasalamat nang sobra-sobra sa lahat ng mga tao. Umaapaw, sobrang saya talaga namin. Hindi lang kami, kundi pati sina direk, buong staff na naghirap para sa project na ‘to. Thank you so much,” Bernardo said.

The 19-year-old Daniel Padilla on his part, was at a loss for words when asked to comment on the early success of their movie, the love team’s fourth movie together since they were introduced by the Kapamilya channel as a love team.

Daniel Padilla was quoted as saying “Lubos po ako nagpapasalamat ng sobra-sobra po na talagang nagustuhan niyo po ang palabras namin. Basta, maraming, maraming salamat,” he said.

The Star Cinema movie “Crazy Beautiful You” is now showing in a total of 226 cinemas nationwide according to the latest statement released by ABS-CBN.

The movie featuring KathNiel is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar and written by Carmi Raymundo. The film “Crazy Beautiful You” also features showbiz royalty Inigo Pascual, the son of Piolo Pascual and veteran stars namely Lorna Tolentino and Gabby Concepcion.
