Former Kapamilya Star and the ultimate winner of the Star Circle Quest, Hero Angeles expressed his willingness to return to showbiz after several years of being absent from the limelight. The actor admitted his intention to return to the showbiz world during an interview with Push.ph last Sunday on the sidelines of “ASAP’s” 20th anniversary celebration.
Hero Angeles was one of those who were invited to perform on ASAP last Sunday which features a lot of its former stars returning to the show for its 20th anniversary episode. The production number of Hero Angeles and the rest of the Star Circle Quest members will be aired on ABS-CBN this coming Sunday, March 1, 2015.
According to Hero Angeles he is more than willing to showcase his acting skills with ABS-CBN and when he was asked what kind of projects does he want to do? Hero Angeles noted that he want something different if given a chance, unlike his roles being featured in a love team, he want offbeat roles upon his return.
The 30-year-old Hero Angeles also said that he felt good to see familiar faces, and was delighted to meet the new generation of stars during his ASAP guesting.
Hero Angeles rose to fame after winning the “Grand Teen Questor” title in ABS-CBN’s reality talent search “Star Circle Quest” in 2004, his victory also launched his love team with Korean superstar Sandara Park.
The thriving career of Hero Angeles suffered as he figured in arguments with the entertainment press and officials of ABS-CBN over alleged disagreements on his career path. Hero transferred to GMA-7 where he starred in a number of TV series.
