The country’s most popular singing competition on national TV, The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2 announced their audition schedule for the year 2015. The Voice Kids audition schedule was scheduled to be held on March 7, 2015. The audition will be held in the event dubbed “Grand Kapamilya Audition Caravan.”
According to the latest announcement of the Kapamilya Channel, the “Grand Kapamilya Audition Caravan,” is an audition for various Kapamilya Shows including the pioneering reality TV series in the country, Pinoy Big Brother, The Voice Kids.
The audition for The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2 will kick off its search which will be open to children aged 7 to 13 years old. The audition will be conducted at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Aside from the audition for The Voice Kids Philippines Season 2, ABS-CBN will also hold an audition for “It’s Showtime” for aspiring “Mini Me” contestants which will be held on March 6. Those aged 9 or below can join the competition.
The “Grand Kapamilya Audition Caravan” will also hold a two-day story gathering for “Maalaala Mo Kaya” ABS-CBN’s long-running anthology that dramatizes real-life experiences of letter senders or personalities. ABS-CBN will also looking for new artists on both days, according to the televised teaser posted on Wednesday.
More auditions for The Voice of the Philippines Kids Edition will be held in Cebu, Lucena, Dagupan, Isabela, Iloilo, General Santos, Davao, Cagayan de Oro and Legazpi.
During the first season of The Voice of the Philippines Kids edition, Lyca Gairanod, a former scavenger-turned singer won the competition and the reason behind why she rose to stardom.
