Filipino singer and former “The Voice of the Philippines” contestant Dave Lamar auditioned in the international hit talent show “American Idol,” in the United States of America. The confirmation of Dave Lamar’s auditioned was confirmed by the singer himself through his Twitter account.
The 23-year-old Dave Lamar shared a photo of him during his “Idol” audition to prove that he indeed joined the hit American singing competition which features some of the best and most talented singers in the United States.
Dave Lamar also added the following message on his Twitter post on Tuesday, “Guys! I swear this isn’t PhotoShopped! tell your friends, family, dogs and cats! Hit that RT and spread the love,” he said in the tweet. The photo posted on his Twitter showed him playing a guitar with the blue “American Idol” backdrop.
Although Dave Lamar did not revealed the song he was performing during his audition with the American Idol 2015 which features judges Keith Urban, Harry Connick Jr., and Jennifer Lopez, the tweet posted by Lamar caught the attention of a lot of Twitter users including Lea Salonga.
The Voice of the Philippines judge, Lea Salonga retweeted Dave Lamar’s post and sent a message to the Filipino singer a message and wrote, (unedited): “IKAW NA!!!!!!!!! Ipapalaganap ko ito sa buong mundo!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!”
Right now it is still unclear whether Dave Lamar made it to the next round of the competition. The American Idol audition of Dave Lamar took place in San Francisco, California and will supposedly air this week.
