The cross fit video of Kapamilya actress and former “The Legal Wife” star has instantly became viral online after it was shared on her official Facebook page on Friday January 16, 2014.
The 15-second video, which was originally posted on the Instagram account of the 29-year-old actress’ Cross Fit coach Betina Bordeos, has already garnered more than 1.5 million views and more than 8, 000 thousand shares, as of writing.
In the recent months, Angel Locsin posted also several photos and videos of her training on her personal Instagram account. Her followers speculated that she is preparing for her upcoming film “Darna.”
Last year, Angel Locsin admitted that she has already started working out to lose weight for the movie since her character is a sexy superheroine. She described her training as work out for fighters, which includes Muai Thai.
“Darna” will be directed by Erik Matti under the production of the leading film-producing company in the country, Star Cinema. Further details about the movie was not yet announced, including the target date of release.
Angel Locsin first portrayed the character of iconic superheroine in 2005 for GMA TV series. “Darna” was created by the late popular graphic novelist Mars Ravelo with artist Nestor Redondo.
Aside from “Darna” movie, Angel Locsin will do also a film with the veteran actress Vilma Santos for Mother’s day this year. It will be directed by Olivia M. Lamasan and will be produced by Star Cinema.
