Iñigo Pascual, the son of kapamilya actor and heartthrob Piolo Pascual, revealed the reasons why he turned down to be a part of a boyband in the United States.
In an interview with entertainment site Push, the “Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig” star said that it was really hard for him to refuse the offer but he was happy to stay in the Philippines because he has a lot of projects.
The 17-year-old star also said that the reason why turned down the offer is because he wanted to stay in the country with his parents and he would not be able to concentrate on his studies if he signed the contract.
“The contract was seven years and I would be housed with the other guys on it so I’d be stuck, I won’t be able to go away if it’s my dad’s birthday and I’d be stuck. And another thing is my studies,” he said.
Meanwhile, Iñigo Pascual is set to star in the upcoming Wanspanatym mini-series “Wish Upon A Lusis” with teen actress Julia Barretto. It will start airing this Saturday January 10, 2015 at the ABS-CBN Yes! Weekend line-up.
Aside from the series, he will also top-bill the upcoming movie “Para Sa Hopeless Romantic” with the 17-year-old actress and with the love team of Nadine Lustre and James Reid. Directed by Andoy Ranay, the movie under Viva Films and Star Cinema will be released early this year.
