Jennylyn Mercado’s “English Only, Please” Scene Went Viral Online

Actress Jennylyn Mercado became one of the hottest topic online after a video scene of the trailer “English Only, Please,” went viral online featuring a scene of the actress shouting at a konduktor over her frustration with being single waiting in line to ride a jeepney.

The 10-second video already garnered thousands of views on YouTube and was shared also on Facebook. The scene is just one of the light moments in the trailer of the highly anticipated MMFF-movie entry “English Only, Please.”

The viral video featuring a scene wherein the 27-year-old Jennylyn Mercado shouting the words “Ako na mag-isa,” in response to the conductor’s calling for the last one passenger.

The romantic comedy movie, “English Only, Please” also features Derek Ramsay and Kean Cipriano. The MMFF-entry movie is directed by Dan Villegas and will be shown in theaters nationwide this coming December 25, 2014.

The movie revolves around the a New York-based bachelor Julian Parker and topnotch Filipino-English tutor Tere. Julian hired Tere to be her tutor during her stay in the Philippines, his main goal in coming to Manila, is just to perfectly recite the Filipino translation of his angry letter to his half-Filipino ex-girlfriend Megan portrayed by Isabel Oli.

The tutor Tere, portrayed by Jennylyn Mercado, who is a heartbroken woman who was involved in a failed relationship with the man he loves most, Kean Cipriano.
