Maserati Driver Allegedly Attacked MMDA Traffic Enforcer Jorbe Adriatico

Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Traffic Enforcer Jorbe Adriatico was allegedly attacked and manhandled by an unidentified Maserati Driver. The poor traffic constable was allegedly punched in the face and dragged several meters by the owner of the luxurious car. The incident was reportedly happened at the corner of Quezon Avenue and Araneta Avenue in Quezon City.

According to MMDA traffic enforcer, he flagged won the blue Maserati after the driver tried to make an illegal left turn at the corner of Quezon Avenue and Araneta Avenue on Thursday morning, November 27, 2014.

The traffic constable narrated that he took a video of the blue Maserati, prompting the driver to go straight on Araneta and make a U-Turn. The Maserati driver then gave the MMDA traffic enforcer a dirty finger, which angered him and challenged to do it again.

It was at that moment that the Maserati Driver, grabbed the Adriatico’s phone and his collar and then dragged the poor enforcer along, while the car was moving along Quezon Avenue, the enforcer claimed.

The traffic enforcer also noted during an interview that he was punched at the face twice, breaking his nose.

According to the latest information gathered by the media, the MMDA identified the Maserati driver as Joseph Russell Ingco of Valencia Hills, Quezon City, based on the license obtained by police from the Land Transportation Office.

The incident went viral online with some netizens posting negative comments against the Maserati driver. Some experts also noted that the luxury Maserati car has an estimated cost of more than P7 million and there are only two blue Maserati Ghiblis in the Philippines at the moment.
