The country’s largest network, ABS-CBN released and debuted its official 2014 Christmas Station ID on Thursday night, November 13, 2014. The highly anticipated Christmas station ID is set to an original tune inspired by the colloquial “Thank You” Christmas carol.

The latest Christmas station ID of the Kapamilya Channel is dubbed as “Thank You Ang Babait Ninyo,” which centers on gratitude features the song of the same title as performed by some of the country’s most popular young artists, “The Voice Kids” winner Lyca Gairanod and runners-up Darren Espanto, Juan Karlos Labajo and Darlene Vibares.
According to the official statement of ABS-CBN, the song about the sense of “gratitude that is innate in every Filipino” was written by Robert Labayen, Love Rose de Leon and Lloyd Corpus. Veteran musicians and arranger Amber and Marcus Davis arranged the piece for the station ID music of the Kapamilya Channel.
Kapamilya artists and personalities showcased how they thanked some important people in their lives and praying tribute to those who give service and serve as inspiration to others.
Veterans stars such as Judy Ann Santos, Toni and Alex Gonzaga, and Piolo Pascual thanked those people who were important to their lives while John Lloyd Cruz, showed his gratitude to the man who discovered him as a potential actor.
Anchors of ABS-CBN also honored those who give service to their countrymen with Noli de Castro giving thanks to the teachers in Oriental Mindor, Umagang Kay Ganda anchors gave recognition to PAGASA employees, while Bandila anchors Julius Babao, Karen Davila, and Ces Drilon paid tributes to farmers.
