One of the top universities in New Zealand Victoria University of Wellington announced that they will be offering a scholarship for Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) students for school year 2015.
The ASEAn Undergraduate Tuition Fees Scholarship is open for students from ASEN region and will cover the tuition fees for the first year of study in the prestigious university starting from 2015. Students can begin their study in the first or second trimester.
“Victoria University invites applications for a new scholarship that covers the tuition fees for the first year of study for an undergraduate degree commencing in 2015 for citizens of the ASEAN region,” it wrote on the website.
Applications are now open until October 31, 2014. The applicants must be “a citizen of an ASEAN country, with an excellent record of academic achievement in your secondary school / university foundation programme studies, and be under the age of 23 on 31 December 2014.”
The purpose of the Undergraduate Tuition Fees scholarship is to promote educational opportunities to the students across ASEAN countries with a leadership potential and excellent academic record.
