A photo which appears to be an “Image of Crying Jesus” embedded on the trunk of a banana tree in Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya is currently making rounds online.
The photo which was uploaded by a certain Nathaniel Cordero in his Facebook account is gearing up with thousands shares and likes. The image also generated various reactions from the netizens online.
According to his Facebook post, he had goosebumps upon seeing the Christ-like figure in a banana trunk in his hometown in Barangay Comon, Aritao, Bayombong, Nueva Vizcaya.
Nathaniel Cordero also took a shot of their mysterious discovery which he uploaded in YouTube. One of the video is accompanied by the following caption:
“This video clip shows the image of Jesus Christ on a trunk of banana tree and looks like crying because of the rain water flowing on his eyes. Pls share diz video.”
In the videos he uploaded on YouTube, some residents are spotted touching the crying image of Jesus with some taking a glimpse of it while others are wiping their handkerchief noting that this might be another manifestation of God.
The videos were recorded and uploaded on the world’s largest video sharing site last September 15, 2014, less than a week before the country was devastated by Tropical Storm Mario. The videos are associated on the previous weather disturbance.
